Metal: Hellsinger, the unofficial birth child of Guitar Hero and the demon slaying Doom games has done something a little un-metal.
The game is a rhythm shooter FPS where players can time their gunshots to the beats of classic heavy metal songs, doing so means more damage and bigger multipliers. However in their latest DLC, the game has added a few songs that might no be so “oow ah ah ah ah”.
The DLC includes:
- Gorillaz – Feel Good Inc.
- Muse – Uprising
- Depeche Mode – Personal Jesus
- Icona Pop – I Love It (feat. Charli XCX)
- DVBBS & Borgeous – Tsunami
- Disturbed – Down With the Sickness
- Galantis – Runaway (U & I)
- Paramore – Misery Business
And while Down With the Sickness sits right up Metal: Hellsingers alley, I can’t picture slaying waves and waves of the demonic horde to I Love It while keeping my serious, demon-slaying face intact.
At least when the demons do try to take over, it won’t just be the dark and grungy headbangers that’ll crawl out of the depths of their mosh pits to save us, no no, they will be able to take on the horde with bubblegum popping, neon eyeglasses ravers and grannies at their side.
