Xbox Has Plans To Release Four Exclusive Games Every Year

Phil, signs-a-lot, Spencer decided to put his trusty pen down and take a short break from signing everything and anything he can get his hands on by making a promise that isn’t a ten-year deal. In a special panel at the Xbox Games Showcase, Phil Spencer and Head of Xbox Game Studios Matt Booty detailed their plan to release four exclusive games on Xbox each year.

During the Xbox Games Showcase, fans got to see what the future of gaming over on Xbox will look like with the reveal of several exciting first-party titles like Fable and South of Midnight.

According to Matt Booty, the ultimate goal is to release four games every year, with Redfall, Starfield, and Forza Motorsport already making up most of that number for this year.

Regardless of the failure that was Redfall, this goal will ultimately be great for the Xbox ecosystem, as the number one complaint throughout the years about the Xbox has been the severe lack of first-party titles, something that Microsoft is focusing on changing.

What do you think about these plans? Let us know in the comments. Also, let us know which first-party title you’re most excited to try.
