In July 2020, amid one of the most tumultuous years in recent memory, a new Fable game was announced with a CGI trailer showing off all the right things, from a magical kingdom to a fairy, a sword, and even a toad.
Since that reveal, fans have been on the edge of their seats with anticipation for the game or, at the very least, for information to come out about it. Then when 2023’s Xbox Games Showcase promised no CGI trailers, fans like myself started to get hyped that maybe, just maybe, three years after it was first announced, this would be the year that actual footage of Fable gets released, and man oh man, were we right.

In the first official, non-CGI trailer for the new entry into the Fable franchise, a mysterious narrator talks about heroes and what defines them before saying that the age of heroes is over and now is the time of innovation.
The trailer also shows a tiny character slaying a giant before showcasing the Fable logo, leaving many of us with heart palpitations.
It’s worth noting that at no point was a release date or even a window announced for the game, but it was revealed that the new Fable game would release on day one to Xbox Game Pass.
But now I want to know from you, what do you think about this trailer? Will this new Fable game be everything we want and deserve, or will it be even more? Let me know in the comments.
