Almost a year ago, Cyberpunk 2077 first revealed its upcoming expansion, Phantom Liberty. During last night’s Xbox Games Showcase, we finally got more details and a new trailer for the spy-thriller addition to the game.
During the showcase, we learnt that the expansions would take place in a previously unexplored district of Night City and would be heading our way on the 26th of September.
The expansion will also feature brand-new characters, one of which is FIA Agent Solomon Reed, played by non-other than Idris Elba and will see the return of Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand.

Phantom Liberty will be the only expansion to Cyberpunk 2077. Once it is released in September, CD Projekt Red will focus on developing the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, a project already well underway.
It’s also worth noting that while exact pricing details haven’t been confirmed yet, Phantom Liberty will be a paid expansion when it arrives.
What do you think about Phantom Liberty? When it arrives, will you be journeying back into the world of Night City? Let me know in the comments.
