Persona fans have I got some news for you. Someone did a little bit of an oopsie and released a bit of information that was not yet set for public viewing. “Oh no, I’d better not click this ‘Send Tweet’ button or my boss’ll be mad.”, or at least that’s how I imagine it went.
Just days before the Xbox showcase on the 11th of June, two new trailers were leaked onto the Twitter-sphere for a new Persona 5 spinoff by the name of Persona 5 Tactica and a remake of the classic Persona 3.
These trailers also confirm the leak that Persona Central picked up, where Atlus, the studio behind the Persona franchise, registered two new domains; P5T.jp and P3RE.jp. These follow suit for the P5R.jp domain that was registered just days before the Persona 5 Royal release.
It does seem that both these trailers were supposed to be for the Xbox showcase as they both start off with that very sleek, metallic ‘X’, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that the new Persona games will only be on Xbox. As we all know the Persona Franchise has been playable on every console out there, including the Switch, so no matter what platform you own, this is something to be excited for.
The leaked Persona 5 Tactics trailer is as Persona 5 as ever and looks like it’ll fit right in with the franchise.

According to the trailers we can expect to see P5Tactica later this year and P3Reload in early 2024.
