Can you believe it, after a week that’s felt impossibly long, it’s finally Friday, which means it’s time for chores and catching up on everything we were too busy to do during the week… only kidding; we all know it’s time to play video games.
Thankfully, this weekend’s gaming sessions don’t even need to make our bank balance even emptier than it already is because Epic Games Store is coming in strong by delivering a fantastic 4v4 multiplayer game for free.
In case you somehow don’t already know the deal with Epic, here’s how it works:
Every Thursday, or sometimes Friday, Epic Games Store makes a new game available for players to download and add to their libraries for free. Forever. It’s a super simple system too.
All gamers need to do to grab this gift for themselves is log into their Epic account, redeem the game on offer and add it to their library. Forever.
This week’s free game, available to add to your Epic Games Store library from now until the 8th of June, is none other than Midnight Ghost Hunt. When the game was first released into early access (where it still is) almost a year ago to the day this is what we had to say about it:
Midnight Ghost Hunt is many things. It’s an Early Access title, a strategy game that is easy to play yet hard to master, and a competitive version of hide-and-seek. However, the thing it is most of all is fun.
At its core, Midnight Ghost Hunt is what you’d get if you mixed hide-and-seek with Prop Hunt. Players will either play as Hunters or Ghosts, with Hunters hunting and Ghosts hiding.
It’s a chaotic multiplayer experience with plenty of fu1n for a weekend binge. If you want to read our game review, you can follow the link here.
And if you’re already sold and want to add the game to your collection, click here to download it before the 8th. Happy hunting.
