Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart Coming To PC

Exciting news for PC gamers today, one of the best PlayStation 5 exclusives is finally releasing on PC – and it’s happening soon.

For those who don’t know, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was first released in 2021 exclusively for the PlayStation 5. It’s still one of the console’s best and most impressive exclusives.

Not only was it a fantastic continuation of the Ratchet & Clank franchise, but it also showed off exactly what Sony’s next-generation console could pull off. Now, PC gamers will finally experience some of the magic for themselves.

Thanks to an announcement from PlayStation themselves, we know that Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will come to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on July 27.

The released version will feature fill ray-traced reflections and ray-traced shadows for natural light in outdoor areas in the game. The game will also release with aspect ratio support for ultra-wide and triple monitor setups.

The game will also be released with full support for mouse and keyboard setups, customisable controllers and support for DualSense’s haptic feedback so that PC players can experience the epicness just so long as they use a wired connection.

Steam and Epic are running pre-order deals where players can access in-game Carbonox armour and Pixelizer weapon items early.

It’s also been confirmed that the five armour sets from the Digital Deluxe Edition and 20th-anniversary armour pack are included in the PC version, and five additional armour sets based on previous games in the franchise.
