Street Fighter 6 Benchmark Tool Now Available

With much anticipation in the NAG office already, the next iteration of Street Fighter will surely get us all hitting the streets to take out our friends come the 2nd of June. Gamers can already play the Beta if they can’t wait for the launch, and now Capcom has launched a Street Fighter 6 Benchmark tool to help us check how capable our rigs are.

The benchmark install file comes in at a whopping 15GB but will deliver a score out of 100 and display the average FPS rating of your system when running the game. The benchmark shows you a few fights and then takes you through various locations filled with all our favourite Street Fighter characters.

I put my MSI Raider GE76 through its paces; you can see the results below.

Capcom has also announced that there is a bug with the software that is preventing it from running correctly from the shortcut icon.

We have confirmed that the benchmark software may not work properly when launched from a shortcut.
If it does not work, please try to run the following executable file.

Executable file location:
“StreetFighter6.exe” in C:\Program Files (x86)\CAPCOM}StreetFighter6 Benchmark

We are currently investigating the cause of the problem.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

The system requirements for Street Fighter 6 are pretty modest by today’s standards, so we expect gamers won’t have too much of a hard time running this game.

You can download the benchmark tool from the Capcom website here. Please also share a screenshot of your results in the comments below so we can see what rig you’ll be running the game on.
