Who’s excited about the upcoming Marvel Spider-Man 2 game? Because I know I am, and ever since seeing its trailer highlighted at the recent PlayStation Showcase, I’ve been scouring the internet for more information about this upcoming gem.
One of the main things I’ve been looking for is concrete information about when the game will be released, as all Sony announced was an overly broad release window of 2023, and selling organs takes time. However, suppose a seemingly random series of numbers hidden within the trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is to be believed. In that case, we might be looking at a November 30th release date. Let me explain:
While searching for Marvel Spider-Man 2 information, I stumbled across a video uploaded by YouTuber AndyReloads. In this video, Andy stops the game trailer when Peter lands on an enemy vehicle and shows the game switch from Peter to Miles Morales.
In this scene, a sequence of numbers can be seen faintly on the car. These numbers are 201123, which I don’t need to tell you, translates to November 20th, 2023 – a potential release date for the game? Maybe.
We won’t know for sure if these numbers were Insomniac’s sneaky way of teasing fans with the game’s release date or if they mean something else until we get confirmation from Insomniac, so until then, it’s up to us, the fans, to presume what we will.
If you want to watch the video in question for yourself, you can do so below. But first, what do you think 201123 means? Let me know in the comments.
