Nothing brings joy to my day quite like when the gaming industry decides to mix things up in the best way possible. Today I’m not talking about a new bug wreaking havoc in some online community, and I’m not talking about Microsoft signing another 10-year deal with your grandmother.
No, I’m talking about Xbox Game Pass and the new Find Your Niche initiative that’s hit the service today. For those of you who don’t already know, Xbox Game Pss is a gaming subscription service with gamers paying a small monthly fee to play and enjoy a massive library of games.
Like other subscription services, Xbox Game Pass allows users to sort the game library into different categories to find the games they want. These categories are usually by genre; however, usually is the keyword here.
As part of a new initiative, Microsoft has created three new Xbox Game Pass categories to help gamers narrow down the library to find the exact game they want to play. These categories are all utterly ridiculous and could easily be mistaken for a delayed April Fools Joke, but nope, they’re about as real as it gets.
As of today, gamers will have the opportunity to sort their Xbox Game Pass library by these three categories:
We Demand You See Our Legs – Games where players can see their legs.
Wild Weapons – Games that use weird and wonderful weapons
Cute x Chaotic – Games that showcase the duality of humankind
Now I could explain these categories further, but as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. So if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, head over to the library to explore these new categories. If you still need to subscribe, you can follow the link here.
