The Last Of Us Part 1 PC Port Has Just Reached An Impressive Sales Milestone

No sugar-coating can sweeten up the sour reception that The Last of Us Part 1 PC Port received in the two months since its launch. Much, if not all, of the criticism the game has faced has had little to do with anything but the sad state of the game on PC.

Since this messy launch, the game has received constant patches and updates, trying to give players the experience many expected the first time they loaded the game up. Judging from the recent significant milestone the game has reached, the post-launch love is paying off.

According to figures shared by Sony, The Last of Us Part 1 PC port has amassed over $15,5 million in revenue as of April 23, 2023, less than a month into its release and sold over 368,000 copies.

These impressive figures were likely bolstered due to the recent HBO series that again put The Last of Us in the spotlight. Aside from the success of The Last of Us, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered has also been gaining some group since its release and broke records when it surpassed God of War in its opening week.

Sony’s latest figures show that Marvel’s Spider-Man has sold over 1.5 million copies on PC and has accounted for $52 million in revenue. These impressive numbers come in hot on the heels of tonight’s PlayStation Showcase event.

PlayStation is rumoured to tease several high-profile games tonight, including Death Stranding 2 and Spider-Man 2 and maybe even spill some details about the rumoured multiplayer project for The Last of Us.
