In news I didn’t think I’d be writing today; Techland, the company behind Dying Light 2, has announced today that the game will soon see a crossover event with Call of Juarez: Gunslinger.
Dying Light 2 is the sequel to, you guessed it, Dying Light, and features a story set 15 years after The Fall. In the game, players take on the role of Aiden Caldwell, a survivor desperately searching for his sister.
And now, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of one of the best-loved and received Western games, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, a crossover event, will be coming to Dying Light 2.
Dubbed Undead or Alive, the event will begin on the 31st of May and run until the 7th of June. During the event, players can earn the Boomsticker gun, which is exclusive to the event. Players can also find special infected Postal Vans, Ambulances, and Military Trucks, all with a Call of Juarez: Gunslinger theme.
There will be various missions and goals for players to complete during Undead or Alive. Players will unlock items referencing Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, like Ray McCall’s amulet or a machete-like Bowie Knife by completing these goals.
Undead or Alive brings together two beloved Techland titles, and whether you’re a fan of one or both of these games, this will surely be an event you want to participate in.
Dying Light 2 is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, with the Nintendo Switch version in development.
