Holy hole in a donut! Have you seen the new Batman Returns Shadowbox that Lego just announced?
Three thousand nine hundred eighty-one pieces of epic, 1992 classic Batman, have been put in a box for us Lego nerds to buy, build and bat our eyelids at. Lego has listed the box at $399.99 (Around R7,600 at the time of writing), which may seem like a lot of money, but you literally get a whole Batcave, guys… a whole Batcave.

The set includes a rendition of the Batcave with multiple moving parts that can be controlled from the rear of the shadowbox. Secret weapon vaults can be uncovered, computer screens can be changed, chairs can swivel, and the legendary Batsuit vault drawbridge can be dramatically lowered.
Along with all the gadgets in the cave, the set also includes a Batmobile with pop-out guns, the classic flame thrower boost, and seven mini figures; Max Shreck, The Penguin, Catwoman, and two versions of Batman, Alfred Pennyworth and Bruce Wayne.
When closed, you are able to view the whole scene through the Batman Bat logo while it sits behind your bulletproof glass collection cabinet. Measuring 51cm wide, 29cm high and 14cm deep, the shadowbox is a nice large piece fit for any collector.
Just witness all the awesomeness of this new Lego set below and if that’s not enough, go and watch the release video on the Lego Website.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go beg for a few extra dimes.
