The Preload For The Final Diablo 4 Beta Event Is Now Live

Okay, everybody, listen up! It’s time to start packing up your desk, putting off your work machine and heading home because the preload for the final beta event for Diablo 4 is officially live and ready for you to take advantage of.

For those who don’t know, this coming weekend, Mother’s Day weekend, gamers can spend time with the mother that truly matters, Mother of Sanctuary, by playing Diablo 4 for the last time before the game releases on the 6th of June for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S with crossplay between the various platforms.

This final hoorah before we all have to sell an organ, pimp out our moms or start taking pictures of our feet to be able to buy the game and continue playing is called Server Slam and will begin on the 12th of May, running for 48 hours until the 14t.

The process is simple for players who didn’t participate in the previous beta events. All you need to do is head over to the Battle.net launcher, click Diablo 4, and then click on Server Slam from the Game Versions menu in the bottom left.

The beta will then download for you so that you’re ready to jump in and start playing when the event goes live. Players who did participate in the previous events are in for an even easier time, provided they have yet to uninstall the client. All the players need to do is let their game install a small patch, and they’re ready to play.

Players participating in Server Slam will also have the chance to earn a new cosmetic exclusive to the event. The Cry of Ashava mount trophy can be unlocked by players who reach level 20 and defeat the world boss at least once during the weekend.

It’s worth noting that players who have already reached this milestone previously won’t be awarded the cosmetic retroactively. Hence, they must ensure they defeat Ashava at least once this coming weekend if they want the cosmetic.

Will you be blowing off your mom to spend time in Diablo this Mother’s Day? Let us know in the comments, and we promise we won’t snitch.
