There’s just that tingly sensation that flows through you when you experience it.
In the next big jump for augmented gaming, we’re moving from your backyard to your entire city. Google is teaming up with the legendary Taito Corporation to bring Space Invaders to the real world.
Using Google’s ARCore Geospatial API and Streetscape Geometry API, the two teams are working to combine augmented reality and digital 3D rendering to make each game of Space Invaders: World Defense unique to your location and even to your environment.
Depending on the time of day, the place you are and even the weather around you, your city will be transformed into a unique environment, ready to be defended.
