Can you believe it’s only the 9th of the month and it’s already payday? Yup, you heard me, that very day when all your money leaves your wallet because you’re pre-ordering your favourite games, like Payday 3.
Payday jokes aside, after around two years of the original announcement of Payday 3, the developers have released a trailer for us to sink our teeth into; the problem is, they’ve only offered up a tiny teaspoon for us to taste, nothing more, and definitely not enough for any teeth sinking action.
With nothing more than a dark figure in a badly lit room, all we really have is that more will be released “this summer”. For those of us that plan our lives via the calendar and not selfish seasons like some people out there, we’re set to get some more juicy action sometime in the next three months, June, July, August.
Other than that, there are a few bits of other information that we do know about Payday 3. One, it will take place in New York, featuring the original gang; Dallas, Chains, Hoxton and Wolf. That’s it; that’s all we know. It sounds like the team is keeping information quite close to their chest before the big gameplay reveal they’re about to show us, but that’s just how you plan the perfect heist- I mean the perfect hype.
Set to launch this year on PC, PlayStation and Xbox; I can’t wait to see what comes out next from the Overkill Studio.
