Before Pokemon Scarlet And Violet players can recover from their last epic battle against Inteleon the Unrivaled, they’ll find themselves gearing up again for the next seven-star Tera raid battle that will see trainers face off against a forgotten about starter Pokemon.
Seven-star Tera raid battles were introduced with the ninth generation of Pokemon games. Since its introduction, each battle has featured a starter Pokemon for willing trainers to take on.
April saw players fight against Samurott and Typhlosion, the starter Pokemon from Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and even more recently, players tried their luck against Inteleon, the starter Pokemon from Pokemon Sword and Shield.
The ninth Pokemon Scarlet and Violet seven-star Tera raid battle will see players face off against none other than Chesnaught the Unrivaled. The battle begins on Friday, May 12, until May 14. Known as the Spiny Armor Pokemon, Chesnaught is the final form of Chespin, the Grass-type starter Pokemon from Pokemon X and Y on the 3DS.
Much like the other seven-star Tera raid bosses in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Chesnaught will have the Mightiest Mark and its Hidden Ability. Bulletproof makes Chesnaught immune to bomb and ball moves. Chesnaught’s signature move is Spiky Shield. It protects it from damage and hurts an attacking Pokemon that uses physical contact moves.
Players also have until May 14 to best Walking Wake and Iron Leaves, so if they want to complete all the challenges that await them – they better hop back into the game soon.
