As a gamer who is also perpetually broke, few things make me happier than a good ‘ol subscription service. It’s no secret that to buy most of the new game releases on launch, you must either be willing to part with a few significant organs, start a successful Only Fans or, alternatively, sign up for a gaming subscription like Xbox Game Pass.
Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft’s version of PlayStation Plus, essentially Netflix for games. Every month, a slew of new games arrive on these services. This month will be a fire month for Xbox Game Pass, with six day-one releases already confirmed.
From Redfall to Ravenlok and even the Definitive Edition of Weird West, there is something for everyone coming to Xbox Game Pass this May. Now without further ado, here are just some of what you can look forward to this month, with more games probably on the horizon soon:
Redfall – Available to redeem from the 2nd of May

Shadowrun Trilogy – Available to redeem from the 9th of May
Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 – Available to redeem from the 11th of May
What do you think of this month’s games? Let us know in the comments. If you’ll excuse me, I have a subscription to renew and Ravenlok to download…
