And just like that, everyone’s favourite Pokemon-themed AR game, Pokemon GO, has announced its Community Day for May and the Pokemon that will be featured.
Over the last few weeks, Niantic has been going all out regarding Pokemon GO, giving players multiple ways to acquire various Pokemon and their variants. May is looking to be another fire month for the game.
The first Pokemon GO event in May will be called An Instinctive Hero. There will be several choice Pokemon available to obtain, some being special.
Players can expect to see an Elekid wearing a unique accessory and a Larvesta. This Bug/Fire-type Pokemon will debut in Pokemon GO during the event. Players will also have the chance to evolve it into a Volcarona.
That’s a lot of hot air for such a small Pokémon!

The May Community Day will happen on the 21st of May. The featured Pokemon will be Fennekin, which was initially added to the game in 2020. During the event, players who can evolve a Braixen, Fennekin’s evolution, will receive a Delphox with Charged Attack Blast Burn or Charged Attack Mystical Fire.
Like the other Community Days, the event will include several bonuses for players, including double Stardust and Candy when capturing Pokemon. The cost of trades will be halved.
