Today isn’t just any old regular Thursday, no, today is a public holiday Thursday, and you might be thinking that it doesn’t get much better than this. But you’d be wrong. It can and will get better thanks to today being that glorious day of the week when Epic Games Store gifts us free games – and who doesn’t love some free games?
For those of you who are still not in the know, every Thursday, Epic Games Store makes a new game, or games as is the case today, free for layers to download and add to their libraries forever.
All gamers need to do to grab this gift for themselves is log into their Epic account, redeem the game on offer, and add it to their library. That game is then yours to keep and maybe even play today; you are on holiday, after all.
Today, Epic once again offers gamers two free games, Breathedge and Poker Club. Both are available to grab from today until the 4th of May, so what are you waiting for?
Breathedge is a game about trying your best to survive… in outer space. Players will team up with an immortal chicken to discover the truth behind their sudden and unexpected spaceship crash.
To survive, players must craft tools, pilot vehicles, and take control of various space stations to try and survive the wreckage.
As the name suggests, Poker Club is a game all about poker. The game advertises itself as being the most immersive poker simulation ever made. It lets players step into the shoes and life of a poker player participating in a global Poker Tour.
Players are trying to make a name for themselves in poker by playing in various 200-player online tournaments that let them track their progress in more than 10 Texas Hold ’em tournament modes.
In Poker Club, players don’t need to go at it alone; they can join a club and team up with friends or other players to earn rewards, unlock shared goals and level up their Club, all in 4k with ray tracing.
If one or both of these games caught your eye or tickled your fancy, then remember to head over to the Epic Games Store and add them to our library before the 4th of May to make sure they are yours to keep and play, maybe even today.
