The Day Before is basically the Kardashians of the gaming world, with controversy after controversy seemingly following the game like a shadow. Despite a rocky few months, The Day Before developers, Fntastic, claims that everything is now going according to plan, and the zombie survival MMO is gearing up not only for its big return to Steam but also for a beta test.
Fntastic has had a rough few months with The Day Before, from claims that the game has been using volunteers instead of paid workers, to copyright issues; it’s hard to remember that once upon a time, The Day Before was one of the most wish-listed games on Steam.
On the official Discord of The Day Before, an administrator has announced that Fntastic is planning a beta test ahead of the game’s November 10 release target. In addition to this test, the administrator told fans that The Day Before would return to Steam in time for release.
Although all this sounds good in theory, it’s worth noting that thus far, no details surrounding a beta test have been shared, and there has also been no word on how the developers plan to get the game back on Steam.
From what we know, The Day Before is scheduled to release on November 10 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
What do you think about all of this? Will you be diving in to experience the beta when and if it goes live, or are you ready to walk away from this one? Let us know in the comments.
