Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Pokémon GO has just announced the Community Day for April. It will be a Classic day featuring a fan-favourite Gen 2 Pokémon.
Over the past few months, Pokémon GO has upped the ante regarding the variety of content to keep players engaged and interested in the game, including the return of the variant of one of the most popular events in-game.
For those who might not be familiar, Community Day is a reoccurring monthly event to celebrate the Pokémon GO community. In 2022, Pokémon GO introduced the Community Day Classic. This extra event revisits Pokémon that have been featured in previous Community Days.
The previous Community Day Classic was held in January, allowing players to add Larvitar to their collection. Now Pokémon GO has announced the return of Community Day Classic in April featuring Swinub.
Players wanting to participate in the event can dive in on the 29th of April. During the event, wild Swinibs will appear more frequently, and there will also be the chance to snag a shiny Swinub.
Pokémon GO players who evolve Piloswine, the evolution of Swinub, during the event on the 29th of April will get a Mamoswine that knows Charged Attack Ancient Power.
April’s Community Day Classic will also feature a Swinub-themed Field Research. Capturing the Pokémon will earn players rewards like Sinnoh Stone and Ultra Balls. Pokémon GO also promises a surprise for players who take snapshots during the event.
