Razer, the company responsible for many of the peripherals loved by gamers, has just revealed and launched the Stream Controller X, an entry-level control deck designed with streamers and content creators in mind.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with control decks, they are external hubs that allow you to access and control many things needed to make live streams and workflows more simple and streamlined.
I use a control deck to manage my workflow, which lets me hot-swap between everything I need for my day-to-day workflow with a simple button. The Stream Controller X comes with 15 programmable LCD buttons making it easy to swap between multiple programs and profiles.
The main thing that sets the Stream Controller X apart from other readily available control decks on the market is that Loupedeck Software powers it, meaning it will have seamless compatibility between all the major streaming platforms such as OBS Studio, Twitch, Streamlabs, and Adobe Premiere Pro while leveraging the customizable Loupedeck UI which allows users to install everything from plugins, emotes and soundboards to the Stream Controller X.

For those looking to use the Stream Controller X outside of streaming, the Loupedeck UI will let you set up the device to run multi-link macro functions to automate many processes within programs like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
According to Razer, the Stream Controller X is fully compatible with Windows and macOS X devices and features a detachable 50° anti-slip magnetic stand, ensuring a comfortable viewing angle and stopping the control deck from shifting around on your desk.
The Stream Controller X is available now from Razer for a sweet $149 or R2,712.
