In exciting news for all Destiny 2 players, one of the rarest Shaders in the game is now available to purchase from an in-game vendor for a limited time.
For those unfamiliar with the technology, Shaders are an integral part of Destiny’s cosmetic customisation. They allow players to have an extra layer of control over Guardians, allowing them to be both badass and stylish.
These shaders are universally applicable to any gear in the game, making them a hot commodity for players wanting to look cool. Like the other gear in Destiny 2, several rarer Shaders in-game are locked behind various challenges and activities, such as going Flawless in Trials of Osiris or completing raids without anyone dying.
Most of these Shaders stay available for players to acquire, even after the associated activities are cycled out for newer ones. However, some Shaders are locked up in Destiny 2’s controversial Destiny Content Vault and have remained unavailable for the last two years – a lifetime in Destiny 2 time.
After years of players’ cries, complaints, tantrums and nags, Bungie has made like any good mom and given in, reintroducing many of the items from the Destiny Content Vault back into the game with several rare Weapon skins and older Shaders available via Eververse and Destiny 2’s Playlist Activities.
Right now, Ada-1 is selling the Bergussian Night, a Shader that hasn’t been seen since Season of the Forge. Players who want to grab it for themselves will have the rest of the week to find Ada-1 in the Tower Annex.
Bergussian Night is a sought-after Shader in the game. Even when Season of the Forge was running, it was one of the more complicated cosmetics to unlock as it could only be acquired by dismantling Curated Weapons from Forge activities or Scourge of the Past Raid.
