At his point, if there is anything more ridiculous than Microsoft’s Phil Spencer signing a 10-year deal with every piece of paper he comes in contact with, it’s how players are playing and even beating Elden Ring.
Over the last few months, we had the YouTuber who beat the game without using the left analogue stick or WASD on a keyboard. We also had the streamer who beat the game using an acoustic guitar and my favourite, a UK streamer who was playing through the game using nothing but her mind.
But apparently, there are still many other heights to achieve, and now we have an Elden Ring player who beat the game’s final boss using nothing but a torch for a weapon. For those who don’t know, the game’s final boss is a two-phase boss fight involving Radagon, who shattered the Elden Ring, and the Elden Beast afterwards.
During this light-hearted and fun little fight, one player decided to arm themselves with little more than a torch. In a video uploaded to r/Eldenring, user Razzaq90s takes on the final boss completely naked and wielding only a torch and not only manages to beat the boss but manages to do so quickly and in a way that will have you doubt if you’ve ever actually played a game before in your life.
One of the best things to have come out of Elden Ring is players’ versatility at tackling the game, and we can’t wait to see what ridiculous feat players will pull off next.
