Acer has recently invested in PLANET9, a new gaming platform that aims to upskill and reduce the barrier to entry for esports learners. The focus is on casual gamers and growing esports within education by providing tools for schools and partners to host their own micro tournaments. The platform supports over 90 games and aims to provide fair competition through proper management, equipment provisioning, and game hosting. In this NAG Sideshow, we chat with Glenn du Toit, Acer County Manager, about PLANET9 and what it is all about.
