There is nothing quite like starting the morning with news about a game being free to play, even if only for a limited time. As of this morning, Battlefield 2042 is available for all Steam users to download and play, for free… until the 17th of March, that is.
While the game is only free for three short days, it is a good chance for players to jump into the game and see if it’s something they enjoy without the obligation of having to purchase it. This free trial will also come hot off the heels of the release of the game’s Season 4: Eleventh Hour making it the best possible time to check it out.
Season 4: Eleventh Hour brought multiple changes to the game and players will have access to four seasons of new maps and more Specialists and weapons to choose from than ever before.
The free-to-play days also come after the return of the Class System which creates a far more structured type of gameplay with Assault, Recon, Support, and Engineer classes returning. If you want to take advantage of this deal then all you need to do is head on over to Steam and search for the game or follow the link here.
The game is also available for PlayStation Plus subscribers to download and claim for March.
