The Rumour Mill Thinks That The Elder Scrolls 6 Might Release on PlayStation 5

Going through the newly-released documents about the proposed Activision Blizzard deal has led to a rather juicy rumour that The Elder Scrolls 6 might be coming to the PlayStation 5 after all. It’s worth noting that the possibility of The Elder Scrolls 6 coming to PlayStation 5 was never outright denied but it was strongly implied that it would be an Xbox console exclusive.

However, thanks to a statement made by Microsoft in the ongoing Activision Blizzard nonsense, many believe the game was just confirmed for PlayStation. In the statement, Microsoft mentioned that two upcoming ZeniMax games are set to release on Xbox and PC only, which is where the rumour mill started churning.

Back in December, Microsoft said there would be three future titles from ZeniMax released on Xbox and PC. While Microsoft never came out and confirmed which games these would be, the common consensus on the internet was that they would be The Elder Scrolls 6, Redfall, and Starfield.

Although since that statement was made, the only ZeniMax game to have been released is Hi-Fi Rush, which would imply that it formed part of the aforementioned three games. Meaning as per the latest statement, there are two games left, and with Starfield and Redfall already confirmed to be console exclusives, that leaves the fate of The Elder Scrolls 6 up in the air.

What do you think about all this ongoing and never-ending nonsense? Do you think the internet is onto something with The Elder Scrolls 6 coming to PlayStation 5, or are they just clutching at straws? Let us know in the comments.
