Modern Warfare 2 x Warzone 2 is set to launch a new update that will add exciting features to Call of Duty. The upcoming update, Season 2, promises to provide players with a compelling gameplay experience with new maps, modes, and features.
One feature that fans are most looking forward to is the addition of a new resurgence map for Warzone 2. The new map is called Ashika Island and is similar in size to the extremely popular Rebirth Island from the original Warzone. Warzone 2 will also be getting a bunch of new features and quality-of-life updates, such as improvements to the backpack/looting system and the welcomed return of 1v1 Gulag.
One of the most significant additions in the update is the introduction of Ranked Play for Multiplayer. This mode comes with a Top 250 leaderboard that lets players compare themselves to CDL pros and coaches. Players get new rewards at every five ranks, including Operator Skins, emblems, and more. At the end of each season, Gold and above skill divisions will receive a special reward, and the top player will receive a bonus reward.
The update will also feature a new Battle Pass and store bundles with five new weapons. Multiplayer will also receive new maps, including two 6v6 maps and two Ground War maps.
Who doesn’t love a good game of Infected or Gun-Game? Just hearing the word Infected brings back memories of MW3 days and grinding for MOABs. Gun-Game and Grind will be playable at the launch of the new update, with three more modes to be added mid-season.
