What were you doing ten years ago? Can you even remember? For me, ten years ago is a whole other lifetime ago. But I remember one thing I was doing: watching the announcement for Dead Island 2-a game that is releasing in two months. For real, this time.
After ten years of waiting, giving up, getting renewed hope and waiting some more, I’m here to announce that the release day for the game has been moved. Once again. Only this time, it isn’t a delay of a few days, weeks, months or even years – instead, the date is moving UP, and those eager to jump into the game can do so on April 21 – a solid week early.
You asked for it, you got it. Dead Island 2 went gold and it's coming out a week early.

Now I’ll be honest, I don’t hold much in the way of expectations for this game, but I am curious. I remember enjoying Dead Island when I played it back in the day. Still, in the years since, Zombie games have become far more prominent, with many games to choose from depending on your speed.
But I am still curious to see how it all turns out. Dead Island 2 will be released on Epic and consoles on April 21, with no Steam release in sight. Will you be playing it? Let us know.
