I hope your monster-slaying sword is sharp and ready because it’s also time for Wild Hearts, EA’s take on Monster Hunter, to make its way onto your screen. If fact, it’s already on some people’s screens, but there’s a catch.
If you’ve been dying to get your slaying on and you’re also an EA Play subscriber, then you are one of the lucky few to have early access to the game, while all the other plebs will have to wait until the 16th or 17th if they’re on a console.
Here’s everything you need to know about this staggered release:
Today at 5 pm in South Africa, players who pay for EA Play will have access to the game. However, they won’t gain access to the entire game and rather the EA Play First trial. The Play First trial lets you play the opening of Wild Hearts, leading to your arrival at the game’s hub city Minato.

PC gamers waiting for the game’s full release can start playing at 5 pm on Thursday, and console gamers can jump on at midnight on Friday.
