Anyone here play Rumbleverse? Yea, We Didn’t Think So

Does anyone here play Rumbleverse? Yea, I didn’t think so. For those who might have forgotten, Rumbleverse is/was the free-to-play pro-wrestling-on-drugs battle royal brawler released a little under six months ago. We’re talking about it today because this morning, in a statement released by Epic Games and the developer of the game Iron Galaxy Studios, it was announced that Rumbleverse would be shutting down for good… this month.

“The remaining weeks will be a chance to celebrate the competitive spirit you’ve brought to this game. There will be more livestreams to play some games with the developers and let them pull the curtain back to share some behind-the-scenes moments from the creative process that built this city.

It is our sincerest hope that this news does not mark the end of Rumbleverse,. You may not yet have seen the Rumble in its final form. If we can welcome people back onto the deck of the battle barge again, we hope you’ll be there, laced up and ready to take your rightful place in the cannon.”

And that’s all, folks. At the end of February 2023, Rumbleverse will officially be shut down. Thankfully as a small condolence to fans who parted with real-world money by buying either a battle pass or in-game currency, the developers have said they are offering full refunds, regardless of platform. However, they have not released any details about how or when that will happen.
