Valve, the company behind the popular gaming platform Steam, has announced that it would discontinue its annual Lunar New Year sale in favour of a new Spring Sale. However, the corporation has not abandoned gamers in January, since the Chinese New Year Sale is now underway.
This new sale focuses on Chinese game developers and publishers, including, Sword and Fairy 7 for R208.60 (30% discount), FIST: Forged in Shadow Tech for R299.40 (40% off), and Lost Castle for R43.60 (60% off). Demos for some of the games included in the sale are also available, allowing you to try them out before purchasing.
In addition to the Chinese New Year Sale, the Steam platform features connections to publisher-specific deals from Xbox Game Studios, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Sega, 505 Games, and the Curve Digital East Meets West Game Fest.
