What does gaming mean to you? To me, it’s always been about channelling my competitive nature while being part of a community and still having fun. However, for many, gaming isn’t as easily accessible or enjoyed as it is for others. It’s undisputed that your gaming experience is only as good as your hardware and infrastructure, especially when any competitive game or esports is involved.
And regardless of where you stand on the ongoing console VS pc war, gaming is expensive and making the initial investment is just something many are unable to justify no matter how badly they might want to, which is where today’s exhibitor, Gamers Club, aims to make a change.
Launching at rAge Expo 2022, Gamers Club is a dedicated gaming facility based in Gauteng. It allows gamers to enhance and improve their skills in a fully kitted premium environment. And while Gamers Club will introduce itself to gamers at rAge, the area will only officially launch in the second quarter of 2023.
At rAge, gamers can swing by their stall and experience three complete gaming setups: a racing Sim, an Xbox and a PC setup. They will also have a few cool graphics cards, headsets and keyboards on sale, but that’s not even the exciting part.
Over the entire rAge weekend, Gamers Club will run a super awesome racing competition. To enter, gamers must buy three laps around the track in Forza 5 for R150. Then on Sunday, the gamer with the top score will win their own playseat evolution gaming chair and a Logitech G29 Steering wheel valued at R15 000.
For more info, you can head to the official Gamers Club website (launching at rAge) or the rAge Expo 2022 website.
