I can’t tell you with 100% certainty what I did three days ago. However, I can tell you what I will be doing three days from now. Everyone’s excited for rAge Expo 2022, but while many of the exhibitors we’ve covered so far have been about satisfying wants and maybe needs, this next showcase may be one of the most important ones we write about.
rAge Expo 2022 will see 14 schools face off against each other in the RGB Gaming Minecraft Speedrun tournament on Friday. For those who aren’t already in the know, RGB Gaming focuses on uplifting, coaching and inspiring Esports within South African schools. It’s about giving children who participate the opportunity to access international tournaments.
And this isn’t just a fad, either. RGB Gaming aims to provide a sound platform for students to get recruited, develop their careers, and be more likely to be accepted into STEM-focused programs.
At rAge Expo 2022, RGB Gaming wants to highlight the benefits of gaming for families and students and promote how competitive gaming and gaming-themed learning activities help children learn strategic and management skills.
While the Minecraft Education Edition will take centre stage, there will also be six high schools taking on the Overwatch 2 tournament on Saturday.
