Spotify and EA Sports wants us to compile the Ultimate FIFA soundtrack

Most gamers who were around in the late 90’s will remember the Fifa 98 Soundtrack, I mean who does not love Song 2 by Blur, it was iconic. We played that game for hundreds of hours and I must admit, for me the soundtrack was a big part of that passion for the game. Now EA Sports wants fans like us to nominate our favourite tunes from past FIFA games by simply listening to them on Spotify. Neat!

EA SPORTS and Spotify have partnered to make over a thousand songs from the FIFA Soundtrack back catalogue available in one place, for easy access. The top tunes, as listened to by fans, will then make their way to the Ultimate FIFA Soundtrack and be included in the FIFA 23 World Cup update that is being pushed out soon. You can also show your love for your favourite songs but sharing them on social media along with the #UltimateFIFASoundtrack hashtag.

In true Spotify style, the company’s algorithm has also curated a personalised FIFA Mix for every subscriber and even included a suggestion for your personal FIFA Anthem based on your past music listening habits.

The campaign comes to an end next week Monday on the 7th of November so get listening to make sure your favourite tunes get featured.

EA SPORTS and Spotify will then announce the Ultimate FIFA Soundtrack, a playlist on Spotify consisting of the Top 100 most-streamed and most-nominated tracks. Moreover, a selection of the most popular tracks will also be unveiled and will be included in FIFA 23’s World Cup update, debuting on the 9th of November.

If you want to listen to the latest soundtrack from the game franchise, EA SPORTS unveiled the official FIFA 23 soundtrack which can also be found in the catalogue.
