Yesterday, Sony confirmed that the PlayStation VR2 will launch in February next year with pre-orders for the headset, games and Sense Controller charging station coming later this month. All of these will be launched on the 22nd of February 2023.

The PlayStation VR2 is priced at $549.99, included in the price is the VR2 headset, the new VR2 Sense controllers as well as stereo headphones. Although little is known about local pricing, Sony’s new VR headset will likely cost well over R10,000 when it reaches our shores.
A separate charging station for the VR2 Sense controller has also been announced and is priced at $49.99 (about R1,000). This charging station comes with a simple click-in design allowing you to charge the device with ease, it also doesn’t need to be connected to the PS5 console which frees up some of the USB ports.
