Following a dominant display from Max Verstappen at the Mexican Grand Prix last weekend, EA has released a sports livery update for EA Sports F1 22 which will bring changes to the cars across geometry, bodywork, sponsors, and colour, alongside team attires, hospitality spaces and garage look. The third in-game driver rating update is also included, as are special items to commemorate Halloween and the Mexican Grand Prix.
“With each race, F1 Teams are constantly evolving their car liveries and designs. This year we have been working harder than ever to deliver a wide range of upgrades for every team on the grid, to ensure that our sports update is our biggest and most authentic to date, bringing our players closer than ever to the real thing,” said Paul Jeal, Senior Director F1 Franchise at Codemasters. “We hope fans also enjoy some of the festive items we have included this time around.”

F1 22 will commemorate Dia de Muertos with exclusive in-game content inspired by the Mexican holiday following the Grand Prix last weekend. The unlockable VIP content in Podium Pass Series 3 will be available until the 7th of December and include a themed set that features a car livery, race suit, cap, helmet, and boots.

The Grin livery, a special time-limited livery inspired by Alice in Wonderland’s Cheshire Cat will be redeemable between 31 October and 5 December. Fans can also purchase the whimsical and customisable Wonderland Hearts set from the item shop between November 2nd to 8th, Inspired by the Queen of Hearts, the set includes a car livery, helmet, suit, and gloves.
