Three Marvel Games Are Coming – EA Confirms

In really exciting news, comic book fans everywhere are in for a great time. EA just finished tying up a deal that gives the company access to the most popular entertainment franchise in the world, Marvel. While EA is synonymous with sports and shooting games, this foray into the world of comics will be a friend for the video game giant.

Now more details about the deal have emerged, and we finally know that there is a three-game deal, starting with the upcoming Iron Man game and then diversifying from there. As of now, we are still unsure of if the next two games will focus on new Marvel characters and stories or if they will exist as follow-ups to the Iron Man game.

This is one of many significant partnerships that EA has taken on. The Marvel deal takes a seat at the table next to Disney’s Lucasfilm deal which has seen EA create games in the Star Wars universe, such as Star Wars: Battlefront and Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.

Not much more is known about the partnership at this time outside of the fact that Iron Man will be developed by The Redwood City, California-based developer who plan to create a game that is a solid single-player action-adventure game and will focus on an all-new, original story based around the history of the character.
