Insomniac Games has recently announced a collaboration with Nixxes Software that will bring the PlayStation-exclusive, Spider-Man: Miles Morales to the PC next month.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an action-adventure game based on the Marvel Comics character Miles Morales and is inspired by the character’s decade-long comic book mythology as well as the 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Miles Morales is settling into his surroundings as a new Spider-Man, following in the footsteps of his mentor, Peter Parker. Miles must assume and own the mantle of Spider-Man when a fierce power struggle threatens to destroy his home.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales was released in 2020 by Sony Interactive Entertainment and developed by Insomniac Games. The game was released as a launch title for the new PlayStation 5, with a PS4 version released the same day which lacked some of the features from the newer console.
The game will now be optimised for PC, allowing players to enjoy a wide range of graphics quality options, unlocked framerates, and support for other technologies such as performance-boosting NVIDIA DLSS 3 and NVIDIA DLSS 2, image quality-enhancing NVIDIA DLAA, and latency-reducing NVIDIA Reflex. AMD FSR 2.1, Intel XeSS, and IGTI upscaling technologies are also supported. Ray Tracing will be another feature with stunning reflection and shadow options available in a variety of quality modes.
None of these amazing graphic options will be useful if the game doesn’t also support your monitor. Thankfully ultra-wide monitors in various screen sizes have already been confirmed to be supported, including 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 32:9, and 48:9 resolutions; As well as NVIDIA Surround and AMD Eyefinity support 48:9 resolutions with triple monitor setups.
The minimum system requirements are:
OS: Windows 10 64-bit 1909
Processor: Intel Core i3-4260, 3.6Ghz or AMD equivalent
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 950 or AMD Radeon RX 470
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 75 GB available space
Spider-Man: Miles Morales releases for PC on the 18th of November and is available on Steam for pre-purchase.
