At long last, we have a date! Capcom has officially provided a date for the much-anticipated Resident Evil showcase – and it’s right around the corner too. The showcase will go live on Twitch and YouTube this Thursday (October 20th) at 11 pm CAT. Thanks to the teaser trailer attached to a Tweet that revealed the showcase date, we know the showcase will highlight the highly anticipated Resident Evil 4 Remake, Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, and other cool Resident Evil-related things.
The next Resident Evil Showcase begins October 20th at 3:00 PM PDT / 6 PM EDT / 11 PM BST!

In the trailer, fans of the franchise should be able to spot a brief glimpse of the upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake and the Resident Evil Village Gold Edition. But if the online rumour mill is to be trusted (and they usually are about these things), then Capcom will be using this showcase to announce a new Resident Evil title (it has been a hot minute) and release some more information about the Shadow of Rose DLC that’s launching October 28th.
There is also a good chance that viewers will get treated to some gameplay footage / maybe even a playable demo of the Resident Evil 4 remake that was first revealed during the Capcom Showcase in June.
Those wanting to stay up past bedtime on a school night to watch the showcase can do so by catching the live stream on the official Resident Evil Twitch channel, YouTube channel or via their official Facebook page.
