Unboxing videos are so overrated, they look glamorous at first but there are those of us that know some poor intern (p.s we don’t have interns we have to do this all ourselves) is going to have to pack all that beautiful gear back into the box to be shipped off to another reviewer to rinse and repeat. I’m not going to lie, playing with the gear is great, but packing it away is less so. Keep in mind that I come from a time when we used to box up large desktop printers that needed to be sent back to the supplier. I feel nauseous just thinking about it.
So, to spice things up I thought I would shoot the world’s first* inboxing video where we show you the working hardware first, and then all the inboxing action you can handle as a first-timer. Click on the action below. Oh, and the Cooler Master and Gigabyte hardware is pretty sweet too. You’ll be able to see this small form factor PC at the Cooler Master Experience store in Sandton so go and check it out.
In case you are curious about the hardware here is the spec sheet:
This machine runs the AMD Ryzen 5 5600x CPU with the Gigabyte Aorus B550I PRO AX mini-ITX motherboard. Then there is 16GB of Gigabyte Aorus RGB RAM consisting of 2x 8GB sticks and some funky RGB lighting for your enjoyment. There’s also a 500GB Aorus GEN4 SSD to store all your warez and for graphics, the impressive entry-level Gigabyte NVIDIA RTX 3050 graphics card. Housing all of this is the Cooler Master NR200P MAX SFF chassis with water cooling and an impressive 850W PSU. What?
*Probably, we can’t officially verify this. Who knows.
