Next to claw the runway, and, from what I hear, the behind-the-scenes judge teams’ personal favourite this Fashion Parade; the Cougar VM410.
Although not sporting as much of that punchy orange we expect from the Cougar Label, the VM410 has a cold, metallic, minimalist design. The head strap is a set of two metallic bands supported by an adjustable, elastic strap that conforms comfortably to your head. The ear cups are attached by swivel ensuring a perfect fit, no matter what head they’re placed upon.
The VM410 also comes in at the feather-light weight class with a 270g headset, however, compared to the HX330 Orange, the VM410 actually feels more like zero grams. The adjustable fit cups backed with a 53mm driver, coupled with the weight of the headset work hand in hand to provide its wearer with an, almost perfect, headphone silence experience. Our behind-the-scenes judge team informs us that they had forgotten they even had the headphones on.
The VM410 comes with a detachable mic, meaning it’s up to you if you want to look like Janet Jackson performing her ultimate dance moves on stage or not, as well as a detachable 3.5mm Audio Jack with built-in volume and microphone control. As an added extra, Cougar has decided to package this headset with a set of fabric ear cups. If you want that leather look during your nights out with the Cowboys, or a perhaps a more comfortable evening in with Mortimer Goth, the choice is yours.
