First down the strip, we have the super lightweight: HX330 Orange, sporting a sleek design with the classic Cougar orange embellishing the outer side of the ear cups and a 50mm driver on the inside, the HX330 Orange struts down the runway, eager to please.
The HX330 Orange comes equipped with a 4-pole, 3.5mm connector and a 4 to 3 pole attachment for those looking to wear it to those Personal Computer occasions. Built-in volume and microphone control mean you never have to, embarrassingly, “alt-tab” mid-raid when your mom walks in offering snacky snacks and a glass of milk. Weighing in at an almost unbelievable 270g, the HX330 is designed for comfort during those long-haul evenings with your squad. The microphone swings in and out of play with a simple swish of the wrist and come with a removable foam jacket for those windier days.
Our behind-the-scenes judging team rate the HX330 Orange as sleek, simple, and stylish. An entry-level price tag of around R700 means you don’t have to gut your wallet for this designer piece. Scoring a 70, the judges claim that the noise-cancellation on the microphone might be a little too aggressive as they found themselves having to speak a little louder to their party guests and the leather-like headband could get a tad sweaty on a heated night out.
