I am was a desk pad kind of guy, I liked the idea of having the whole table being mouse-friendly and never having to worry about my mouse jumping off the edge of the pad. I also thought that an RGB mouse pad was just some money-grabbing thing that companies were doing to, well, grab more money. I still kind of do think that, but damn, does it look cool and the Redragon Pluto RGB Gaming mousepad is the perfect size for a nice clean look on my desk while still giving me ample space to mouse around and it has that little splash of funk.
I like how black the mousepad surface is in contrast with the RGB strip on the edges, my mouse glides all over it like an Olympic figure skating gold medal winner, plus the cloth is waterproof making it a little easier to clean when I spill my slurpy all over it and the anti-slip rubbering underneath keeps it stuck in place. The RGB strip has given my KDA, at least, a 0.34 boost and the Double Dragon logo in the middle keeps my wrist nice and warm on those cold, winter, gaming nights.

The only downside I have with the mousepad is that it doesn’t come with any sort of software, which isn’t a major bummer as there are 9 different modes that you can cycle through with the touch of a button, but it would be, just that little bit, nicer to be able to customize it with something more “matchy-matchy” to the rest of my setup, however, for the low price that this mousepad comes in at, I’m pretty impressed and pretty much converted…
Do I NEED an RGB mousepad? Yes. Yes, I do and it’s the Redragon Pluto that got me hooked.
