Sci-fi cyberpunk city builder Industries of Titan launches into Steam Early Access today

Developer Brace Yourselves Games has announced that its corporate-dystopia-but-in-space sim has completed pre-testing calibration procedures and is ready to commence its next phase of operations.

First deployed on the Epic Games Store in 2020, Industries of Titan mixes construction and questionable politics with a bleak-future Blade Runner aesthetic, and tasks players with trashing an alien archaeological site of almost incalculable academic and philosophical significance for maximum cash profits. GO TEAM.

As the Founder of a new city-corporation, and backed by the unforgiving and mysterious Council, you’ve been granted new headquarters in Titan’s inhospitable atmosphere. There, you’ll need to bear the onslaught of ruthless rebels while keeping your benefactor happy and explore the ruins of a forgotten civilization. The Council expects much from you. Do you have what it takes to truly thrive?

The game is now also dropping onto Steam at 18:00 local time today, according to Twitter, with a series of promo livestreams hosted by the developers scheduled over the entire week. Although the Steam price isn’t confirmed for now, it’s R209 on the Epic Games Store, so I’d expect it’s going to be more or less the same minus a temporary 20 percent discount.
