Ubisoft has revealed the Far Cry 6 season pass DLC extras, which introduces some of the franchise’s most iconic bad guys – Vaas Montenegro, Pagan Min, and Joseph Seed – as playable characters in “a new Far Cry gameplay experience in which you will have to die… and retry”. But more importantly, the season pass also features a remastered version of the most iconic Far Cry game.
First launched in 2013 as a Far Cry 3 expansion, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon goes back to the future of 2007. Not the 2007 as we remember it, though, but the 2007 as expected by low-budget VHS action/sci-fi movies and kids’ TV shows in the 1980s. Think Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future, but with more swears, sexual innuendos, and superfluous cybernetic accessories. Robot sharks? Those too.

The Far Cry 6 season pass is included with the Gold, Ultimate and Collector’s Editions of the game, which launches on PC and consoles on 7 October 2021.
