Crytek has announced the Crysis Remastered Trilogy, launching on PC and consoles in 2021.
This isn’t exactly unexpected news – Crysis Remastered launched back in September, so I guess new versions of the two sequels were more or less inevitable. According to Crytek, the Crysis Remastered Trilogy includes just the single-player campaigns of the three games, but besides promising “even smoother” performance on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 consoles, the studio hasn’t revealed the list of optimisations and other improvements.
“Each game is enhanced to look and play beautifully on today’s platforms,” sez project lead Steffen Halbig, “delivering the finest Crysis experience for both newcomers to our classic franchise or players wishing to relive the adventure.”
It’s out in Q3 on PC, Xbox and PlayStation consoles, and Nintendo Switch.
