Resident Evil (so hot right now) is the latest horror classic to join the Dead by Daylight party, adding Leon S. Kennedy, Jill Valentine, and The Nemesis to celebrate five years of nightmarish crossover madness. I know the more modern anniversary gift would be silverware, but I respect Behaviour Interactive for going the traditional route – zombies.
To celebrate their fifth anniversary, Dead by Daylight has partnered up with Capcom to add Resident Evil’s Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine to the Survivors club in order to take on a new Killer, The Nemesis. There’s also a new map, the iconic Raccoon City police station (based closely on how it appeared in the remake of Resident Evil 2 and 3), featuring bespoke corruption, blood spatter accents, and a stuffed tiger. But it wouldn’t be Resident Evil without zombies, so there are also zombies.
Yes, The Nemesis will be assisted by AI-controlled zombies (a first for the game). The zombies patrol the map to the best of their shambling ability, so you’ll have to be on the lookout for them as well as The Nemesis and its tricky tentacles – fun!

Resident Evil comes to Dead by Daylight on 15 June.
