Eternals

The Eternals are finally thinking about doing something in their first proper trailer

“Throughout the years we have never interfered, until now.” Apparently that whole Thanos situation was just an us problem.

Eternals is an upcoming instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, now in its fourth phase. We’ve been hearing about it for a while and now finally there’s a proper trailer. Turns out, the Eternals (a team of incredibly powerful, immortal, alien super beings) have been on Earth this whole time (for like 7,000 years), but they didn’t want to interfere. Except for that little bit of interfering they did in the beginning, building up human civilisation and stuff, nothing big.

Anyway, after the events of Endgame, the Eternals are ready to get involved for reasons not shown here. So, they take some time off from their day jobs as museum curators and Bollywood stars to get together again. Team Eternals includes Gemma Chan (just forget she was in Captain Marvel, okay) as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Angelina Jolie as Thena, super-buff Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Ma Dong-seok as Gilgamesh, Barry Keoghan as Druig, and Lia McHugh as Sprite. Kit Harington will be playing a regular human with a magic sword, as usual.

I’m just going to assume that their names sound like off-brand gods/heroes because they’ve been around so long that humans based their myths/religions on them.

Eternals will be coming to cinemas some time in November.
